Places to have a baby?
I'm going crazy! Being a housewife is wonderful (and exhausting), but I'm getting ancy to get out. My son is 8 months age. We often go to the library and the park (hurray for the ducks!), And was also a free tour of art galleries around the city, and the Museum of the Desert (as a kind of zoo, but with the desert animals.) What are some other ideas? I know there are things like Gymboree classes, but are a ridiculous $ 60 a month. We're on a budget.
Look for free concerts in the area - we took our daughter to a fall festival with a bluegrass band recently, and she loved it! Practice also saw local high school band and soccer practice, she also enjoyed (and free!). Also the shopping was - not to buy things, but there is much to learn in the mall (it's also free and warm inside!). She enjoys the candles on the smell the candle shop and looking at all the fun Christmas ornaments!
