Why not split the nut in my hot hot tub leak out?!?! Should I use a rubber coupler w / hose clamps?
I replaced the nuts in parts, I replaced the seals (O-rings should I use instead?), I replaced the female end (yes the game thread) I wrapped the threads with Teflon tape three times, in vain! I even tried to put Teflon tape between fruit dry before placing the division together. What I'm doing wrong?! If you over tighten the nuts in parts, to crack and break! (Paso doble) If I use one of those big, thick clips, rubber hose high resistance couplers w /? If so, what should I do with the lips on the tube heater? Try to slide the coupling of the (little)? Or grind it out maybe? My tube heater overheat and melt the rubber coupler?
Hello, a common problem that we see 4-5 times a day. Get together Balboa heater. They are white and are two faces. A team from the square to fit your pvc pipe and a side grooved to fit inside the stainless steel assembly, heater. They are the best on the market. should only cost a couple dollars. DO NOT overtighten. NO sealents, or lubricants. Almost wondering if its pvc flush or deformed by heat over time. (It happens) to keep you from getting a good tight seal. The heater will melt the rubber over time. I've seen people do it (gulp!). Please send us an email at any time.
